SG (Storage Group) ALERTS HAVE STOPPED WORKING

Issue/Introduction

Our SG (Storage Group) shortage alerts have stopped working. It begins, but gets an error message and stops. 

The error is 'OPJCPDIR USER DATA BUT NO UVT, MEMBER=SGSPACE. WILL ADD. DSN=xxxxx.SAMS.AUTOSCR

Resolution

Since the error message displays the script name that failed, go into the Scripts Wizard.

In Windows Client / menu line / z/OS / Object Scripting / Automation Scripts / General Object Automation...

Select script SGSPACE [which is just an example] and step thru the script.

Somehow the script became damaged and by paging through the script wizard this action will correct the error.

Do a save and reload of the script and see if it works.
