Issue/Introduction
When a Device has MANAGEMENT AGENT LOST alarm, Is there any attribute to know the SNMP/SysEDGE status?
Environment
Release :
Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER
Resolution
Spectrum has 2 attributes.
Dev_Contact_Status 0x110ed - This would be for SNMP communication.
Contact_Status 0x10004 - This is for ICMP\Network Connectivity.
Spectrum will make the determination using the above if the SNMP Agent (in this case SysEDGE is not responding via SNMP) or if the entire Server is no longer reachable (ICMP).
Management Agent Lost Alarm would make Dev_Contact_Status = 0.
