Resolution

Use snmpcollector.

Recommend use of the BETA version of the latest snmpcollector probe which has major improvements and we have several customers already using it successfully.

http://support.nimsoft.com/Files/Archive/00286/snmpcollector-4.0.0.zip 

First deactivate the snmpcollector probe.

If you haven't configured that much yet, you can simply rt-click deactivate it,

then delete it.

Then delete the snmpcollector probe folder.

Deploy the 4.0 version anew.

Start configuration from that point on.
