Actions needed in ESP after changing TCPIP product

Issue/Introduction

We plan to move from IBM TCPIP to CA TCPaccess. 

What actions are needed in ESP?

 

Environment

Release : 11.4 & 12.0

 

Resolution

- The TCPIP in ESPPARM should be updated, and the ESP STC needs to be recycled.

- If agents are defined and used, and the HOST name is changed, update the MANAGER parm in the AGENTDEF.   Run OPER MGRADDR AGENT command to notify all agents.

- If the Workstation GUI is used, update the TCPIP in WSSPARM.  The Workstation Server STC needs to be recycled.
