I was reviewing the member SSMESP and I see the following
BROWSE prefix.CCLXRULM(SSMESP) - 01.00
Command ===> Scroll ===> CSR .
********************************* Top of Data ********************************** .
)MSG ADAN01 .
)Proc .
/* */ .
/* Name - SSMABAS */ .
/* Purpose - Set the CURRENT_STATE of ADABAS regions that are */ .
/* SSM monitored */ .
/* Related - STATEMAN */ .
/* Globals - None */ .
/* History - 30 Nov 2010 MDR - Original Implementation */ .
/* */ .
/* Notes - Rule only reports on a current state of UP. States */ .
/* STARTING and DOWN are reported by the SSMIEF4 and */ .
/* SSMEOM rules respectively. */ .
/* */ .
/**********************************************************************/ .
If Opsinfo('EXITTYPE') ¬== 'MVS' Then Return .
However later in the code I do see a test
/*--------------------------------------------------------------------*/
/* ESP499I ESP RELEASE 5.4.0 INITIALIZED, SUBSYS ESP */
/*--+----1----+----2----+----3----+----4----+----5----+----6----+-----*/
When msg.id == 'ESP499I' then
Address SQL "Update STCTBL set current_state='UP'",
"where jobname=:job"
Component : OPS/MVS
The comment box and the rule header are incorrect. SSMABAS should not be referenced.
Also, the header should be changed from:
)MSG ADAN01
To:
)MSG ESP*
This sample rule will be corrected by a future PTF.
