Issue/Introduction

Getting Error when trying to configure an additional route. Error Box displays this: Usage: inet_route [-vF] del {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [gw Gw] [metric M] [[dev] If] inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [gw Gw] [metric M] [netmask N] [mss Mss] [window W] [irtt I] [mod] [dyn] [reinstate] [[dev] If] inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [metric M] reject inet_route [-FC] flush NOT supported

Cause

1. PAM tries to reach the Gateway. A bad gateway address or a invalid subnet address results in that high level error. The Console log or the Syslog will not have any more information. Resolution

Provide a valid Gateway access / Subnet address. The syslogs and console logs will no have any additional informaion in the case when Gateway access in not allowed or set for a invalid subnet address.
