Is VSAM Extended Addressability (EA) supported for both Sysview for Db2 and Detector history collections

Issue/Introduction

Is VSAM Extended Addressability (EA) supported for a Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) history file
and Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) data store file.  If it is supported for the IDB2 history and PDT datastore files, are there any considerations
when the VSAM EA is used for those files.

Resolution

There are no considerations for IDB2 and PDT to work with Extended Addressability data sets, the only consideration is to specify a
SMS Data Class when you define the data set.
