UIM netapp_ontap custom template backup

Issue/Introduction

A lot of time and customization can be done setting up custom templates and so that work is not lost how can they be backed up?

Environment

Component : UIM - NETAPP_ONTAP

Resolution

deactivate the netapp_ontap probe

make a backup copy of the $\Nimsoft\probes\storage\netapp_ontap\bulk_config folder

activate the netapp_ontap probe 

To restore 

close any open netapp_ontap probe configure GUI windows

deactivate the netapp_ontap probe

copy the backup to $\Nimsoft\probes\storage\netapp_ontap\ replacing the existing bulk_config folder

activate the netapp_ontap probe 

Additional Information

When the NetApp Ontap Factory Template is copied and customized upon saving a copy is written to: 

$\Nimsoft\probes\storage\netapp_ontap\bulk_config\raw_templates

When it is activated a copy is written to:

$\Nimsoft\probes\storage\netapp_ontap\bulk_config\templates\0

It is necessary for both copies to exist for the Template Editor to be able to open the template. 

What shows up in the gui is based on the contents of: 

$\Nimsoft\probes\storage\netapp_ontap\bulk_config\stub_templates\0\
