ERROR: XCOMS7011E Value 'xxxxxxx' for parameter OBJ not a valid name"

Issue/Introduction

Don't have any issue to transfer one file at the time...   but need to send multiple files from Windows to iSeries(AS/400) ...   but it seems that the remote system doesn't accept wildcard.

Do we have other option ?  Received message "XCOMS7011E Value 'xxxxxxx' for parameter OBJ not a valid name."

 

Environment

• XCOM™ Data Transport® for AS/400 i5/OS
• XCOM™ Data Transport® for Windows

Resolution

XCOM for AS/400 i5/OS does not support wildcard transfers. In this case the user will have to setup multiple transfers for each file they need to transfer to the iSeries.
