Cisco devices are not discovered In Spectrum OneClick under the VPLS Manager

Environment

Release : Any version of Spectrum

Component : Spectrum VPLS Manager

Cause

Cisco devices are not supported in Spectrum VPLS Manager. Only Juniper devices are supported in Spectrum VPLS Manager.

Reference the "MIBs and Devices Supported by VPLS Manager" section of the documentation.

VPLS Manager supports the following tables in the Juniper Enterprise VPN MIB:

• Table of Configured VPNs (jnxVpnTable) 
• Table of VPN Interfaces (jnxVpnIfTable)

VPLS Manager functionality is supported by Juniper on JunOS 6.1 or later.

Resolution

There are no plans on supporting Cisco devices in the Spectrum VPLS Manager at the time this knowledge article was published.
