GisView - Device pointer does not appear in the map

Issue/Introduction

Considering that you already have configured the following files accordingly:

gisGC.config

googleAPIKEY.config

gisIPAddressList.config 

Also, the device already has the 0x23000d attribute (device location) configured too.

However, the device pointer is not displayed in map.

Cause

The Geocoding API was not marked to be enabled during the request of Google API key.

Geocoding is the process of converting addresses (like "1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA") into geographic coordinates (like latitude 37.423021 and longitude -122.083739), which you can use to place markers or position the map.

Resolution

Enable the Geocoding API in your license, by following the instructions contained in the link below:
