Issue/Introduction

Received message "XCOMU0403E Cannot open output file: No such file or directory" when trying to transfer a file. This transfer worked the day before.

Environment

  • XCOM™ Data Transport® for Windows
  • XCOM™ Data Transport® for UNIX/Linux PC

Cause

Security, the userid used for the transfer didn't have proper permissions.

Resolution

User changed permissions on the NAS where the files were being delivered. Corrected the permissions and all is working.
