ERROR:User not authorized to access report with OM Web Viewer 12.1

Issue/Introduction

When selecting Report > Advanced search > looking for the History reports getting the message:

ERROR: User not authorized to access report.

 

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• View® 

Cause

This is managed by View® security, not OM Web Viewer 12.1

Resolution

When you try to access a particular report, and you get the error "Error: User not authorized to access report.," that would be beyond the control of OM Web Viewer. OM Web Viewer is simply echoing the message it's getting from View® . You should go to the View® security administrator for your organization to ask why your ID does not have access to that report. Once that is resolved, you should be able to see the report through OM Web Viewer.
