checkout/checkin fails with long windows path

Issue/Introduction

Checkout/Checkin operations with Harvest can't handle the windows limitation of maximal path length 255.

Changing the new windows registry parameter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\FileSystem LongPathsEnabled(1) doesn't help. 

Interfaces/Plugins for Subversion and Git or IntelliJ IDE somehow get around the problem. It's only Harvest Workbench and Harvest Eclipse plugin who can't handle the situation. Checkouts end with File Agent errors: 

E03020028: The File Agent error for item <HOSTNAME>\\DRIVE:\<PATH>\<item>:No such file or directory:No such file or directory

Resolution

Please, raise a case with Support.

SE (Sustaining Engineering) has build a fix for this problem.
