Issue/Introduction

This document provides sample DDS System Generation definitions for using TCP/IP as the communications method.

Environment

Release : All supported releases

Component : CA IDMS DDS

Resolution

The sample syntax assumes that there are two IDMS systems:

SYSTEM41 residing on a z/OS machine with host name OSHOST41.

SYSTEM42 residing on a z/OS machine with host name OSHOST42.

Furthermore, SYSTEM41 contains a dictionary DICT41 and SYSTEM42 contains a dictionary DICT42.

The provided samples will make DICT42 accessible to SYSTEM41 and vice-versa.

Download the attached file kb134669.zip for the syntax.
