Rally - How many attachments are allowed to be added to defects, stories, portfolio items, etc.

Issue/Introduction

A customer has added a couple hundred attachments to a portfolio item.  They are attaching more, when saving the changes the UI returns 'successfully saved'.  When looking at the revision history the history shows that the attachment was added.  However the attachments are not visible in the attachment list to delete or download.

Cause

Currently the page size coded for attachments is 200, this was increased from 20 in March of 2019.  Individual attachments are limited to be 50MB for uploading to Rally.  

Resolution

Engineering is planning to increase the page size for attachments however this remedy is not scalable and could threaten performance in loading artifacts that contain many attachments.
