How to apply SOLVE PTFs by Install Utility

Issue/Introduction

Steps to apply CA SOLVE PTF from starting Install utility. 

Environment

Release : 5.0

Component : CA SOLVE:Operations Automation for z/OS

Resolution

1 Start CLIST EX 'Prefix.INSTALL(INSTALL)'

2 Select 7 MAINTAIN PRODUCTS

3 Selecy 3 APPLY INDIVIDUAL SMP FIXES FROM A DASD DATASET

4 Specify dataset name having a maintenance

5 Remove "/" in case you need to exclude a fix to process.

6 Product is SOLVE:OPERATIONS AUTOMATION

7 Edit JOBCARD

8 Specify a dataset name there JCLs to RECEIVE/APPLY are stored.

9 Enter. The utility creates JCLs

10 Submit JCLs.

As for JCLs to be created, no needs to run in the utility. It can be run later.
