"Cannot find the job with RunID XYZ" while the job is in Active Status in Activity Window

Issue/Introduction

Randomly, job starts hanging, and stays in ‘Active’ status. When cancel of the job is manually initiated, the following error message appears “Cannot find the job with RunID XYZ”. The job is in the Activity Window with the status 1550, “Active”.

The agent log displays the following:

20190416/141514.846 - U02000038 Cancel job 'JOBS.EXAMPLE' with RunID 'XYZ'.

20190416/141514.847 - U02003043 Invalid 'kill' call. Error code: ('3' - 'No such process')

Cause

Unknown.
