Increasing the TSDSNSPA value for ADR (Automatic Dataset Recognition) table

Issue/Introduction

We need to increase the TSDSNSPA option for the ADR table.  How is this done and is there any impact to Jobtrac once it is increased?

Resolution

The TSDSNSPA option specifies the maximum size for the ADR table. A value from 100 to 25000 can be specified. Larger values use more ECSA. To increase the size of the ADR table specify the desired value for TSDSNSPA  parm  found in the JOBTRA00 member. To enable the new value you will need to either shut down Jobtrac with the BACK parameter or IPL.  The following command can be used to shutdown Jobtrac  with the BACK parameter:

F Taskname,BACK

where Taskname is the name of your Jobtrac started task.
