How do changes to GSO records on the ACF2 database take effect?

Issue/Introduction

If a change to a GSO record is made from the same system, or from another system, when does it take effect in ACF2.

Environment

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

Any changes to a GSO record only take effect when a REFRESH command is issued on the system, or an IPL is done.  

The REFRESH can be done for a single GSO record, or for all GSO records.
