API Explorer: Japanese text strings in the response get garbled

Issue/Introduction

In API Developer Portal , if you send a request to API Gateway via ‘API Explorer’, Japanese text strings in the response body get garbled when Response HTTP status code 410.

Note:

If changing the Response HTTP status code to 200, the API calls works as expected, i.e, no garbling.

Environment

Release : 4.2.9.3

Component : API PORTAL

Resolution

The problem will fixed in API Portal 4.4 release.

Workaround:

- Do not use Japanese text string for the response body in your API call.
