When using the Resource Finder to replace a role with a resource, one of the resources is unexpectedly showing a 100% availability match when she is not available during specific months in the requested time frame. This is with the 'Include Soft-booked Resources' option already selected.

The Availability Match calculation takes an overall remaining availability (total availability minus total allocation) and compares that to the requested allocation amount. It's not a month by month comparison, so it doesn't matter that the resource is already fully allocated for some months in the requested time frame.
For example, if there is a role on a project requesting 198 total hours of allocation for a six month period, and there is a resource already allocated to 776 hours for that time frame (the resource's total availability for that time frame being 992 hours), then the Availability Match would be calculated as:
Total Availability - Total Allocated Amount 992 - 776 216
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- = ----------------------- = -------------- = 109% (or 100% as an Availability Match cannot be greater than 100%)
