I am trying to INSTALL TOMCAT for COMMON SERVICES but it fails because of a double // in the path name.
Where do I correct this // from the path name that is causing this directory error?

During the installation the path specified ended with a /, which caused the the double //.
During the install on the base install wizard Target Zone 3/3 it has:
CCLXHFS DDDEF:
For this path the name coded was: /usr/lpp/CAI/
Ending it with a / caused the double // in the directory path name.
To correct:
You can either modify the CCLXHFS DDDEF with batch UCLIN to remove one of the slashes or use SMP/E online to do the same.
