How to correct Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) DT881E: Collection profile name not located error message.

Resolution

The DT881E: Collection profile name not located error message can be corrected by:

1) Creating a Collection Profile on the "DETECTOR Create Collection Profile Display", You can reach this screen by:

a) Selecting option 4 (Maintain collect/report profiles) on the Detector Main menu

b) On the screen that follows (DETECTOR Collection/Reporting Profiles Menu), select option 1 (View Collection Profiles - Create, view, and modify collection profiles)

c) On the next screen (DETECTOR Collection Profiles Display), place a "Y" at the "Create Profile ==>" prompt

2) Once the Collection Profile is created, start your collection using option 5 (Initialize SSID collection) on the Detector Main menu.
Make sure that you place your new Profile name in the "Collection Profile" entry, which is on the 2nd page of the "DETECTOR Start Collection Display"

If you uses MVS Modify commands to start your collections, ensure that your PRF entry in your start commands in library
hlq.CDBAPXMP is the same as your new Collection Profile name.
