CA 7 Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

When CA 7 startup after IPL, it puts out message CAL2C055E XTM-01 CCI not active

Cause

Usually this is because Workload Automation CA 7 started before CCI was fully initialized.

Environment

Release : 11.3

Component : CA-7

Resolution

Make sure CCI (which is started by ENF) is completely initialized before starting Workload Automation CA 7.

 

You can dynamically start the CA 7 CCI interface by issuing the following CA 7 commands:

 

 /close,group=CCIGRP1

then issue

/open,group=CCIGRP1

 

You should then see the following messages in the CA 7 stc log:

 

CA-7.SCMK - /CLOSE SUCCESSFUL FOR CCIGRP

CA-7.SCMK - /OPEN SUCCESSFUL FOR CCIGRP
