Issue/Introduction

udm_manager queue (udm_inventory) is unstable and not functioning correctly.

Cause

- undetermined, possibly connection timeout or transaction issues

Environment

Component : UIM - UDM

Resolution

Using the "Raw Configure" GUI for the udm_manager, add the following key under the setup section:

- schema_transact_retries and set the value to 5000

- increase the schema_connection_timeout_minutes value to 45

- Edit this parameter under setup -> datomic -> memory_index_max 

Out of the box this is set to 256m, so set it to 512m.

 

If that does not resolve the issue, redeploy the udm_manager probe.

In this case, after re-deploying the udm_manager probe, the udm_inventory queue recovered to its normal state (queue turned from yellow to green and processed its messages.)
