Issue/Introduction

The JCL referenced in the Maintenance Procedures - Download Options

References a ZIP file, but my Solution Cart Order that I created from the Support Portal Download Management only contains a .BIN file.

Is there a way to produce a .ZIP file instead?

Resolution

The CAUNZIP utility requires a ZIP file as input. 

When downloading maintenance, you have the option of downloading .BIN file or a .ZIP file in https://casupport.broadcom.com 


To download the solution as a .zip file, follow these steps:

- Login to https://casupport.broadcom.com

- Click CART to display your Solution Cart. 

- Put a check in the 'ADD ALL TO CART' column next to each of the solutions you wish to be included

- Scroll to the bottom of the page

- Put a check in the box under, "Do you want a complete package for all"

- Click CHECKOUT. 


Specifying "YES" for "Complete Package" will bundle the solution(s) you have selected and their dependencies into one or more .zip files that can be downloaded via HTTP or FTP. An email notification will be sent when your request is ready for downloading.'
