Examining compressed journal images

Issue/Introduction

When database records are compressed (either with IDMSCOMP/DCOM or with PressPack), only the compressed images are written to the journals.

It can be useful to view the uncompressed version of such data.

Environment

Release : All supported releases.
Component: Journal Analyzer.

Resolution

The Journal Analyzer component product can be used to view journal images compressed with either IDMSCOMP/DCOM or PressPack.

Note that Journal Analyzer is now freely available under Portfolio Simplification.
