IAM Service Goes Down and Cannot be Restarted

Issue/Introduction

IAM is getting down frequently,even i restarted manually it is getting down with in 5 sec.Also i'm getting IAM authentication for new users.

 

Cause

Orphan process.

Environment

Release : 10.4

Component : CA Application Test

Resolution

Had to delete process Java(TM) Platform SE binary(32 bit). Was then able to start IAm with no issue. Was able to add a new user and authenticate with no issues. Verified by logging into the Enterprise Dashboard, Portal and Workstation with no errors for new user.

This has been resolved in DevTest 10.5.0
