Issue/Introduction

Instead of issuing a CC=4 and a warning

message, the Repository PSB scanner ends with a CC=8

and does a rollback if a referenced DBD in

the PSBGEN syntax is not found in the Repository.

Any additional DBDs referenced that do exist in the

Repository are not processed.

Environment

Release : 7.2

Component : CA Repository Exchange for IMS

Resolution

Apply solutions SO08321 + SO08322

Additional Information

A new parameter has been defined to the PSB

import program. The parameter has been added

at the end of the list so that if it is not

provided the behavior will remain as is.

Edit the PARMFILE DD and add a 13th parameter

as follows to implement the continue processing

switch

Y; 13 - CONTINUE SW

If Y is specified, the job will continue

processing if the event that a referenced

DBD is not found in the Repository. Upon

completion, the job will end with a CC=4

and a summary will be provided at the bottom

of the job output showing how many successfull

conversions were committed versus the total

number of PSBs encountered in the PSB Gen

Syntax.

Setting this new parameter to Y will require

that you set the existing 8th parameter to 'C'

C; 8 - COMMIT LEVEL C - COMMITS AFTER EACH PSB AND PCB
