Issue/Introduction

According to documentation on installing silently EEM, it shows that there are 2 parameters that can be set, namely IGWUSER and IGWGROUP.
See also this url https://docops.ca.com/ca-embedded-entitlements-manager/12-6/en/installing/silent-unix-installation/configure-the-response-file-unix/example-response-file-unix

However when installing EEM from the we don't get asked during installation to fill in these 2 fields. It will use 'root' by default.

Environment

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys) - CA Embedded Entitlements Manager

Resolution

You can use following way to install iGateway as non-root user.

1. Run the ccc_setup.sh and select EEM to install.

2. Go thru the windows until you get to the point where you get the overview of your installation choices.

Stop here, do not click 'Next' as then it starts the installation.

3. Open new window and go to the /tmp directory.

At this point all the EEM materials have been extracted to a location under /tmp.

You can find the name in the window where you have stopped.

          Example :  /tmp/LSMEXaRJZdI/ca-cs-eem.d/$CASHCOMP/eem/install

Here you will find the executable

          EEMServer. -r-xr-xr-x. 1 root root 455694137 May 11 2017 EEMServer_12.60.0.5_linux.bin

4. Copy this file to another location.

After you have copied this file to another directory, you can cancel the EEM installation.

5. Execute now from this new location EEMServer_12.60.0.5_linux.bin

6. It launches setup and you will get at some point following questions
