Can reports in a View database be renamed?

Resolution

There is no means available to rename a report once it is in a View database. 

There is a procedure, though, whereas you can:

 . . Run SARDBASE /LOAD ... DDNAME=..., to write the report to a physical-sequential file.

 . . Run IEBGENER, using the View CLSL/DEST/FORM criteria, to send the report back to View.

 . . Note: The jobname used in the IEBGENER job will become the Sysout ID in View. 

     Also, the original archive date and time will not be used, as that information would come from the IEBGENER job.
