CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine

Issue/Introduction

If you are in a configuration with multiple Java Communication Processes (JCP), if the JCP you connected to when logging in becomes unavailable, search functionality becomes unusable. This can be remedied only by logging out of the system and back in which generates a new connection to a JCP.

Cause

This is due to the Automation Engine not polling for other active JCP processes and performing a failover check.

Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

A problem has been fixed where the Web Interface did not failover correctly if the connected JCP was unavailable.

Versions:

Automic.Web.Interface 12.3.0
