Can I copy a logical view from one CA View to another?

Issue/Introduction

Logical view's sometimes need to be copied from one CA View database to another CA View database.

Release: 14.0

Component: CA View

 

Resolution

The SARBCH functions, LISTVIEW and DEFVIEW allow copying logical views from one DB to another.

You can use the LISTVIEW function to get the logical views,  and then send the output from the LISTVIEW views to a CNTL file which in turn can be used as input to SARBCH and the DEFVIEW function.
