Issue/Introduction

The stdlog files in $NX_ROOT\log folder are filling up with messages like the following one:

 slump_nxd 9064 ERROR server.c5400 Unable to resend broadcast message *** requested by node YYY - message sequence not stored.

What could be the cause and how do we resolve the issue?

Cause

One possible cause is that required ports are not open.

Resolution

Check with your network team and open up the closed ports.
