Issue/Introduction

In the CA XCOM trace directory there are many files nnnnnn.TRA which are starting to occupy a large amount of disk space. Can they be safely deleted without any negative impact?

Environment

Release : ANY

Component : CA XCOM Data Transport for Linux PC, CA XCOM Data Transport for Windows

Resolution

Files with name nnnnnn.TRA in the XCOM trace directory are from previously executed XCOM file transfers.

They can be safely deleted while XCOM is still running without having any negative impact.

Also the XCOM server scheduler service/daemon does not need to be restarted after deleting the files.
