Time over Thresholds in SNMPCollector template are not applied

Issue/Introduction

Static thresholds and time over thresholds (TOT) are defined in the snmpcollector templates. After applying the template, static thresholds become effective but the time over thresholds are not even applying the template again and restarting the probe.

Cause

TOT_RULE_CONFIG messages generated from secondary hub are not processed by Alarm_Enrichment probe.

Resolution

Option1:

Deploy AE and NAS probe to process TOT_RULE_CONFIG messages and TOT rules are saved by AE probe on the secondary hub. Alarms are generated by local NAS probe before they are replicated to the primary hub.

Option2:

Forward TOT_RULE_CONFIG messages to the primary hub. AE probe on the primary hub will process such messages and save them in the config file.
