Issue/Introduction

More info is requested on C22E 562: https://support.ca.com/irj/portal/anonymous/kbproblem?productcd=C22E&problemnbr=562.  We tried testing this by having a test EXCEXTFUN calling an Error Message. After zooming into the Error Message and changing the message text via the Action Diagram, we're not getting any notification message as indicated by the fix item. Thank you.

Resolution

As part of changes this fix, changes were done in “YMSGDTAD4I” program to invoke “YMDLOBJR1I”. Main intent behind fixing this problem was to ensure that object change information for messages is logged correctly when they changed from the AD. In line with this, changes were done to YMSGDTAD4I program to invoke YMDLOBJR1I when messages changed through AD. We also attach the document contains the snapshot which show this problem and how having 8.7 cum PTF A resolves it. YMDLOBJR1C(which is a shipped program) was modified at our end to easily show us if an object was modified or not. YMDLOBJR1C doesn’t have any change impact as part of this problem. So, we request to kindly ignore YMDLOBJR1C references in the previous mail. We will also ensure that problem text is modified to reflect the actual cause as part of work on next refresh pack.
