CA View - What is the Compatibility of CA View R12.1 and R14?

Is CA View 12.1 forward and backward compatible with R14 ?

Resolution

View 14.0 can be reverted to View 12.1 (as well as 12.2). 

Here is a link that provides information on the process:

  The View systems can be upgraded in stages, as View is downward-compatible regarding the database levels.

The 14.0 code level can be implemented at this time, and the 12.1-level databases will work as expected.

A SARDBASE VERSION 14.0 should eventually be run on the databases, to bring the database levels up to the code level.
