Issue/Introduction

When running an AutoDiscovery with more than three entries in the SNMP Community String list and using the Secure Domain Connector (SDC) is not checking all entries in the SNMP Community String list.

Environment

Release : Spectrum 10.3.x

Component : Spectrum Discovery & Modeling

Cause

When running a range discovery with more than three community strings in the SNMP Community String list and using SDC, if the first three entries in the SNMP Community String list do not respond to the snmp requests, Spectrum will not attempt to use the other entries in the list and will model the device using the Pingable model type if the device responds to icmp.

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be addressed in Spectrum 10.04.00. No specific release date at the time this article was published.
