Issue/Introduction

We have VSAM RLS files that are opened for update in CICS. We would like to update these VSAM RLS file with the CA File Master Plus ISPF interface. Does CA File Master support VSAM RLS files?

Currently CA File Master r 10 or r 11 does not support the updating of VSAM RLS files. You also cannot use CA File Master Plus to define RLS files. The RLS LOG parameter is missing from the define cluster utilities menu.   If you try to update an RLS file using the CA File Master Plus ISPF CLIST option 2 EDIT and that file is allocated to CICS you receive message Data set in use.
