spectrumgtw doesn't start

NIMSOFT PROBES DX Unified Infrastructure Management (Nimsoft / UIM)

Issue/Introduction

I tried restarting the spectrumgtw probe and then the hub and still the spectrumgtw probe comes ui as red in IM.  Logs show several errors indicating issues communicating with UIM:

And then max restarts is reached:

May 1 07:51:13:911 [11624] Controller: Max. restarts reached for probe 'spectrumgtw' (command = <startup java>)


Cause

Server had encountered storage issues and needed to be reconnected.  The spectrumgtw probe had become corrupted during this process.

Environment

Release : 8.51 SP1

Component : UNIFIED INFRASTRUCTURE MGMT

Spectrumgtw 8.6.5 HF 10

Resolution

We backed up the config and deleted/redeployed the probe. The probe started up without issues with OOTB config. We applied the old config. The probe came up, received good connection, and communications started working. Alarms started showing up.
