Unable to delete the Environment from an existing Project in Portal

CA Test Data Manager (Data Finder / Grid Tools)

We have a Project defined in Portal that has a second connection profile that is not needed. Since we are unable to delete the unwanted connection profile from the Environment, we decided to delete the Environment, and create a new Environment. However, after we click the delete button to delete the Environment the deletion fails. If the Project has more than one Environment defined, the deletion works.

Release : 4.7

Component : CA Test Data Manager - TDM Web Portal

Engineering reviewed the HAR file that we collected, and in it there was the following error: "text": "{\"status\":400,\"errorCode\":\"\",\"errorMsg\":\"Environment 'QLAB02' cannot be deleted\",\"errorDetail\":\"Environment 'QLAB02' with ID '562' has association with Test Data Model and cannot be deleted\",\"timestamp\":\"2019-05-30T14:10+0000\"}" .

When there is only one Environment defined, before you can delete the Environment, you must first delete the corresponding model. Another option would be to create a new Environment, and then delete the old Environment that you no longer want. Engineering provided TDMWeb- patch, which improves the messaging to indicate why the deletion of the Environment failed.
