Issue/Introduction

The Active Directory Server records in the IAM for LDAP connections are getting duplicated in DEVTEST.

Original records:

ABC Life Active Directory Server For Staff

ABC Life Active Directory Server For  Life Staff

Shown as  in IAM LDAP Group:

ABC Life Active Directory Server For Staff

ABC Life Active Directory Server For Staff

ABC Life Active Directory Server For Life Staff

ABC Life Active Directory Server For Life Staff

Cause

While, upgrading to version 10.4 and above ,it imports the authentication provider file to IAM, then check to see if there is any ldap-mappings file.  Then it  pushes the configuration to IAM. During this process if something fails then it will try again during the next restart of Registry.  At this time it might add duplicate entries.

Environment

Release : DevTest 10.4 and above

Component : CA Application Test

Resolution

Workaround:

We can delete those duplicate entries.
