Portal task status doesn’t updated once changed in IM

Identity Manager has the ability to resubmit a task. These tasks still show up as failed in Identity Portal.
How to update the state of a failed task in Identity portal after it has been resubmitted in Identity Manager?

Once a request reached a final status in IM it is not checked or 're-synced' with Portal. In other words Identity Portal does not have the re-submit option in it and cannot follow it once initiated in Identity Manager. If the request failed, you need to fix what ever needs fixing in IM and submit a new request in Identity Portal.
