Issue/Introduction

Why are we receiving CA JCLCheck messages CAY6081E, CAY6080W, and CAY6129E for the data sets with DISP=(,CATLG) which is handled by CA CA11 Restart?

Environment

Release:
Component: JCLCHK

Resolution

Add the CA JCLCheck option 'CA11' when validating JCL that already has the CA11 RMS step.  If the CA11 RMS step has PARM="P", it will activate the CA JCLCheck SUPCAT option which will suppress messages CAY6081E, CAY6080W, and CAY6129E when a DD has DISP=(,CATLG) for a data set that is already cataloged.  If the CA11 RMS step contain a PARM="R,stepname), CA JCLCheck will turn off the SUPCAT option.

Add the CA JCLCheck option "SUPCAT" when validating JCL that does not have the CA11 RMS step to suppress the messages CAY6081E, CAY6080W, and CAY6129E.
