404 error when uploading large Catalog files for SAM

When trying to upload the current Master Catalog into SAM for processing, the web server returns HTTP error 404 - File or directory not found.
After testing with smaller files, these work, but the full catalog is failing - how can this be remedied?

Increase the file upload limit in Internet Information Services.
1) Open the IIS Manager interface. 2) Select the Default Website, as this is the one used by SAM. 3) Select Requests Filtering. 4) Select Edit Feature Settings... from the right-hand side. 5) Go to Request Limits and increase the value of Maximum allowed content length (Bytes) to an appropriate value to be able to handle the file. 6) Restart IIS to pick up the change.
