Clarity PPM: CMN-01002 Error thrown at Login

Clarity PPM SaaS Clarity PPM On Premise


There is an active user that is unable to login to the PPM Clarity application. When attempting to login, the user gets the following error: 

CMN-01002: User name and password invalid. Note that the password is case-sensitive.

The issue may be due to a trailing space at the end of the username. Once the trailing space is removed, the user will be able to long without error. 

The trailing space can be found by etiher placing the cursor at the end of the User Name field in the UI or querying the CMN_SEC_USERS table.
