Error when accessing Cost Plan Detail ORA-01795

Clarity PPM SaaS Clarity PPM On Premise


After upgrade, all their Cost plans - Detail pages were giving error message:
Internal Server Error. The server could not retrieve the document due to server-configuration or other technical problems. Contact your site administrator

In the logs the error was :

Caused by: com.niku.union.persistence.nsql.NSQLException: com.niku.union.persistence.PersistenceException:
SQL error code: 1795
Error message: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000


We reset the defaults on object Cost Plan Detail and this fixed the issue.
Go to Administration - Objects - Cost Plan Detail - Restore Defaults

Attention: This action will erase all custom view configuration and user views so proceed with caution (take screenshots of your config) prior to the reset to be able to use later.
