How is the Default Investment type determined on the Select Investment Type page when converting an Idea to another investment type?

Resolution

The "Select Investment Type" page is not configurable. It is hard coded.

If a user has access to ALL investment types, they are not presented in alphabetic order. They are presented in this order:

• Project
• Project from Template
• Application
• Asset
• Product
• Other Work
• Service

Application is selected by Default.

If a user does not have access to all investment types, items he/she does not have access to are removed from the list and the investment after Project from Template is selected as the default.

If a user only has access to only Project and Project from Template, Project will be selected as the default.

The only time Project from Template would be selected as the default is if that is the only investment type the user has access to.
